The VAR, located at 45mn from Nice in the Alpes Maritimes 06, is the ideal river for beginners. This river allows to learn quickly the basic technics and of course a certified guide will show you the best ways and prevent any dangers. The Summer when it is too warm on the coast it is the moment to enjoy some refreshing in whitewater kayak.
A descent in kayak is also swimming and jumping in the river !
Playful and refreshing the kayaking is available for everybody !
THE VERDON GORGES is a family and contemplative rafting ride, the descent of the Verdon Gorges is more technical and sporty in kayak.
The route from Castellane allows a progressive approach to the kayak. The descent begins quietly and at the end of the route when you have a good mastering of your kayak, a beautiful rapid will allows you to keep an unforgettable souvenir of the Verdon Gorges.
After safety instructions, climb aboard your stable boat and follow your certified guide.
During the whole trip, the guide will give you some advices and will show you the best way to enjoy the course at its best. The certified guide will of course prevent any danger.
The initiation in kayak discovery is an essential step before being able to go for the more sporty kayak adventure.

- Complete wetsuit or shorty depending of the weather.

The equipment is rinsed and desinfected in Bacterless after every exit.
